About us The mission of River Arts is to nurture and encourage
participation in the arts throughout the community by providing exhibition,
studio and performance space, classes and workshops, for all ages and
abilities. and in all artistic disciplines, and by
partnering with other arts organizations. River arts is a non-profit arts
organization situated in downtown Damariscotta in the heart of Midcoast River Arts is attuned to the needs of the community at
large and strives to provide the highest quality art instruction, high
caliber exhibitions and special events. We are a membership
organization. Our volunteer board
of directors is committed to transparent, innovative and responsible
operation of the organization. The board of directors includes: Susan Atwater Bruce Bachelder -
secretary Courtland Bennett Norm Ingalls David Lawlor Kathleen Mack - president Robert McLaughlin – vice president Linda Morkeski Ervin Snyder Kenneth Steele – treasurer Alan Teel Our advisory board includes Karen Cadbury, John German and
